Topic: What the blankety-blank will become of my collection after I'm gone?

Question

I'm 70. A young 70, but still.... I have spent the last 50 plus years collecting and and am now in the process of organizing and recording my beloved acquisitions. All great so far. But what will happen when I'm no longer able or even around to manage the collection. None of my children or grandchildren seem interested, although I continue my appeals to them. So what do I envision as an end goal for the collection. What steps should I take now to assure (or at least increase the odds) of that coming about. There must be many out the who are asking the same questions. Any suggestions?

Perhaps you can try contacting the Am. Philatelic Society (Bellefonte, PA) for ideas - I understand they have assisted others in a similar situation facing similar questions.
